My name is Freedom Zampaladus and I have a story to tell. My story is one of transition; a change that has really opened my eyes. Change is the most constant aspect of life and hopefully my story can inspire others to look within. Entrepreneurship is seldom taught in schools and I hope to inspire the younger generation to embrace their skills. My two projects, ‘The We Ride Too Academy’ and ‘The Neetz Ride Too Academy’ embodies the character building aspects required. Obviously it is a perfect introduction to get young kids and teens riding horses. Of late I have embraced my own talents and now enjoy acting, public speaking and presenting, alongside writing. I am actively involved in helping to make my local community a stronger one.
I have vast experience in Youth and Community work, both overseas and locally. This has led me to pioneer many of those projects. I works for periods as a ‘Supply Teacher’ and am ‘Team Teach’ qualified. I have developed a strong ability to work in an effective and flexible manner to cater for both Primary and Secondary students.
I am a former employee of Leicester City’s ‘Youth Offending Service’. At the time I held the position of a Resettlement and Aftercare Project worker. I was responsible for a number of cases of young people involved in the CJS (Criminal Justice System), in particular assisting those young people making the transition from custody back into society. Thus working with these young people across the nation in their custodial settings.
Set yourself some goals and have the confidence to embrace failure. For that failure is part of the process of success.
